I Just Got A Nasty Gram In My Email Box

As the BECAUSE,WHY NOT? Podcast grows, so does the flow of questions into our email and ask box. So far things have been kinda slow cause we are just starting out and people are just getting to know us, but I expect things will pick up in the coming months. 

So far the response to B,WN? has been really good. People have sent us notes telling us they like what we are doing and they think we are funny and…Mike’s an asshole :D (we know they don’t mean it :P ) 

Today I got a different kind of email, I got a nasty gram! It wasn’t just a nasty gram but a really mean spirited nasty gram from an anon email addy. And it went a little something like this? 

“Why are you faggots doing this? This is so stupid! Your not even famous or anything and nobody gives a shit what you think about anything so why not shut the fuck up and stop making this gayass podcast that nobody cares about!” 

The email was sent from a junk phony email server so I know there is no use in sending a reply or trying to address them directly. I did however want to address this question cause I thought folks might want to know and also cause I cant imagine we suck so bad that someone would go out of their way to send a nasty letter like this for no reason, I mean this is some mean spirited shit right here! 

Anyhow on the question of why. 

Simply put, because why not? Port, Mike, Jermaine and myself are just a group of friends that wanted to do something fun together. We thought that since we enjoyed one anothers company so much and that we were having so much fun busting each others balls and just being silly and stupid, why not record it and share it with our other friends and anyone else that wanted to come along for the ride. 

B,WN? isn’t about being famous or trying to be famous, its a group of friends (two white geeks, a black geek and a lesbian geek) getting together and talking some shit about current events in gaming, politics, movies and whatever cause we can and we like doing this sorta thing. 

If nobody else in the world cares we will continue to do this, but so far some other people have cared and continue to care by coming back and listening to our shows as we put them out. 

This is fun for us and when it stops being fun we will shit can the whole thing and move along but for now this is something we enjoy and hopefully the fun we are having together comes across in a way that gets other people involved and has them laughing as much as we do.

So to the haters, send in your hate mail, we don’t mind cause everyone is entitled to their opinion. To the lovers, send in pictures of your boobies/booties (becausewhynotpodcast@gmail.com) cause none of us like cocks :D
